Historically, schools of psychotherapy have focused on unconscious psychological process, but have not composed scientific concept of unconsciousness successfully.
Although unconsciousness had been unconscious in a certain age or era of psychology, some studies are conscious of unconsciousness in modern psychology. Especially, some studies of cognitive science and neuroscience have many results that may explain the mechanism of consciousness and unconsciousness in recent years. This article based on the working memory theory and A.Dmasio’s theory of consciousness, global work space model and intelligent distribution agent model of unconscious psychological process, tried to compose a integrative model of the mechanism of consciousness and unconsciousness. Finally, the author discussed the possibility of integration of psychotherapies through this mechanism.
